Jeanette and Jerry are just a seemingly happy marriage. They have just moved to a suburban home, but old problems await them in a new place. Jerry wants to escape again, rather than face difficulties. When she goes out for a few months to extinguish dangerous forest fires, Jeannette is left alone with her growing son. A lost woman gets into an affair, which, however, only for a moment allows her to feel the girl she once was - crazy, attractive and full of life.
