Next week, Kate Mercer (Charlotte Rampling) celebrate with her husband Geoff (Tom Courtenay) 45th anniversary of their wedding. Preparations for the anniversary events run extremely smoothly. However, Geoff comes to an unexpected letter. The body of his first love, frozen in a glacier, was found in the Swiss Alps. When five days later due to take place with long-awaited celebration, it turns out that perhaps no longer the marriage, the anniversary could celebrate.
Renowned Polish viewers with "Just another weekend" director Andrew Haigh wrote out a subtle drama in two prominent, experienced actors. Rampling and Courtenay viewing at each other tenderly playing the heroes who at the time trying to discover how a long distance together underwent - and like many before them.
